Jewish Friends Donate Face Masks

On Feb 3, 2020, Rabbi Shalom Greenberg and his friends who are from Israel came to Shanghai Jewish Refugee Museum to donate ten thousand face masks for senior citizens living in the surrounding communities and the front-line personnels who are fighting the novel coronavirus outbreak. The Curator Chen Jian and Chen Yedan, Deputy Director of North Bund Subdistrict Office accepted the task to send the face masks to these people.
Rabbi Greenberg and his friends who now resident in Shanghai said, Shanghai people offered their generous help during the time when Jewish people were in danger. In turn, they now donated these face masks to express their support for China to battle against the new coronavirus-related pneumonia. They hope Chinese people will overcome the difficulty in the near future with collaborative effort.
