A concert of songs of the Holocaust on November 17

  Dear friends,

  We are glad to inform you that Jerry Silverman will have a? concert of songs of the Holocaust?in the museum on November 17th this year and it will last about 1 hour. The concert will consist of readings and songs from Jerry Silverman's book " The Undying Flame: Ballads and Songs of the Holocaust".

  Jerry Silverman is one of America's outstanding folksingers, guitar teachers and most prolific authors of music books. He has published over 200 books, which have sold in the millions, including folk song collections, anthologies and method books for guitar, banjo and fiiddle. He has taught hundreds and hundreds of people, young and old, the joys of making music on the guitar.   Jerry would like to introduce the music of Holocaust to the Chinese audience this time and hope this concert will help people better understand the Holocaust.
