Ceremony for the Shanghai List

  An unveiling ceremony for the sculpture and shanghai list will be organized at Shanghai Jewish Refugees Museum on 3 September this year. During the 1930s to 1940s, at least 18 thousand European Jewish refugees fled to shanghai, escaping from the Nazi Germany and maintained a good relationship with the local people. After the world war Ⅱ ended, most of them survived.

  To record the memory of the history, we have displayed 13732 former Shanghai Jewish refugees' names on a special wall at the Shanghai Jewish Refugees Museum with Chinese and overseas scholars.
