Curator of the Shanghai Jewish Refugees Museum paid a visit to the Jewish Museum Berlin

  On the afternoon of 21th November, accompanied by former Shanghai Jewish Refugee Ms Sonja Muehlberger, Mr. Chen Jian, Curator of the Shanghai Jewish Refugees Museum, and Ms. Liao Guangjun, Section Chief of the Shanghai Hongkou District Foreign Affaires Office, paid a visit to the Jewish Museum Berlin. They had a meeting with the Managing Director Mr. Martin Michaelis and the Head of Archives Mr. Aubrey Pomerance. Both sides agreed to strengthen communication and cooperation as well as to share artifacts and conduct academic exchanges during the reorganization of new permanent exhibitions in both museums.

  

 

  Before the visit to the Jewish Museum Berlin, Curator Chen had presented Sonja the Letter of Appointment of a Member of the International Advisory Board of the Shanghai Jewish Refugees Museum.
