  ※?Oct. 7, 2008, more than 250 local people aged over 70 participated in public service activities to celebrate the Chung Yeung Festival or the Double Ninth Festival.

  ※?On the night of Oct. 7, 2008, Consulate General of Germany in Shanghai launched a new book at the Museum: “The Last Refuge: The Story of Jewish Refugees in Shanghai” by a German author Shuhmann. Over 50 consuls general from Germany and Israel were present at the event.

  ※?Oct. 17, 2008, a delegation of 13 government officials and congressmen led by Markus Schreiber, head of the District Administration Hamburg-Mitte, Germany, visited the Museum.

Over 60 students from German schools in Shanghai and Shanghai Foreign Studies Middle School led by former Jewish refugees Sonja Mühlberger and Peter Nash, and a staff of Austrian Holocaust Museum, René J. Laglstorfer, visited the Museum.
